Match Day Parking Campaign

The Trafford Green Party will be out in Longford this weekend promoting our match day parking campaign. Illegal and dangerous match day parking is a problem many Longford residents have flagged up. We'll be encouraging those attending the match to consider public transport, lift sharing, walking or cycling in the future. Click here to see the flyer we will be distributing.

GM Future Transport Consultation

Towards the end of this month close to 2 million people across Greater Manchester will be balloted on their views about the Transport Innovation Fund, which proposes to implement congestion charging. The Trafford Green Party supports the TIF but recognises the need to take steps to reduce carbon emissions still further. Click here to read the Trafford Green Party response to the proposals.

Stretford Town Centre - What do you think ?

We now feel that the time is right to encourage the Council to prepare a strategy for Stretford Town Centre to help create a place that we can be proud of and that will attract people to live, work and relax. We would like to hear your opinions and ideas for how you would like your Town Centre to look and feel in the future. There is a link inside this to our planning objection, also attached.
