The Final Push

Trafford Greens will be out in force across Trafford, asking for your support on 6th May. We'll be knocking on doors, running stalls and asking people to answer our two minute survey. Over the past few months we have met so many Trafford voters who want to see a real, green change. You can be a part of our fair, sustainable future: vote Green on 6th May.

Green MEP on Five Live

Jean Lambert, the Green MEP for London, will challenge representatives from the ‘big three’ (Alistair Darling confirmed, others tba) on the subject of public services and their commitment to the PFI on Kate Silverton’s Radio 5 Live show on Sunday, May 2, at 10.45am. The BNP/SNP/UKIP and Plaid Cymru will also have their turn to grill the panel on a particular issue. Tune in for a lively show!

Hustings in Partington: Tuesday 20th April 2010

Margaret Westbrook will be at the General Election hustings organised by Positive Partington at St Mary's Church in Partington from 7pm. Please come along to hear about Trafford Green Party's dynamic solutions to the challenges faced by our communities.
Green Events: April 2010

Trafford Greens have been busy campaigning for the General and Local Elections across the borough and the response has been fantastically enthusiastic. If you would like to find out more, please attend one of our upcoming events, or come along to one of the hustings events at which all of Trafford's General Election candidates will be present. We'd love to tell you more about what we can do for you, our community and the planet, so please don't hesitate to contact us if you would like to find out more. We'll be out and about with our survey and running our stalls throughout Trafford, so please come and say hello if you see us.
Hustings Events

There are two of these in the offing: the first is at Acre Hall Primary School, Irlam Road, Flixton on Wednesday, 21st April at 7.30-9.30pm and the second is being held at the Old Trafford Community Centre on Tuesday 27th April at 7.30-9.30pm. Our General Election candidate Margaret Westbrook will be in attendance alongside candidates for the other parties, so please attend if you'd like to find out more about our ambitious national manifesto as well as our local policies.
Green Drinks

Join us for some green drinks at 7.30pm on Sunday 25th April 2010 in the Urmston Pub on Stretford Road. This is a great opportunity to socialise, chat about green issues, find out more about Trafford Green Party and meet Margaret Westbrook, our candidate for the General and Local Elections (Urmston and Stretford and Longford respectively).

Green Baby Disco

Babies and children under six, together with their carers are invited to join us for a fantastic Baby Disco at Humphrey Park Community Centre on Sunday, April 25th from 2-4pm. Tickets cost just £2.50 per walking child with no charge for accompanying adults. Tea, coffee and cakes will be available. The event gives parents with young children the chance to find out more about the Green Party and how they can get involved.

 
Green Drinks

Join us for some green drinks at 7.30pm on Sunday 28th March 2010 in the Urmston Pub on Stretford Road. This is a great opportunity to socialise, chat about green issues, find out more about Trafford Green Party and meet Margaret Westbrook, our candidate for the parliamentary and local elections (Urmston and Stretford and Longford respectively).
Surveys and Stalls

We'll be out and about this weekend (26.03.2010) so if you see our stall please come and have a chat and find out more. We'll also be knocking on doors in Longford Ward asking you to complete our 2 minute survey, so please do!

Green Social

Saturday 27th March 2010, 3 - 5pm.  A chance for those of us with children to get together to find out what is going on with Trafford Green Party and how we can get involved. It is difficult for us to get to meetings so this child friendly event has been created especially! There will be space and toys for children to play while we chat. Drinks and snacks will be available for sale to cover the cost of the meeting room. Venue Sevenways Methodist Church Hall Stretford.
