IN LOCAL COUNCILS the Green Party has over one hundred councillors in different local authorities across England and Wales working hard for local communities.

In Kirklees, for example, Green Party councillors have initiated a scheme to provide free insulation (cavity wall and loft) to over 30,000 homes. The £14million scheme will ensure that many households across Kirklees receive around £400 worth of insulation measures free of charge, tackling climate change and fuel poverty at the same time.
