Recycling options - What we think

Trafford Council has now published two options for recycling. Apart from a lack of clarity, we are concerned about the content of both! We are glad to see that cardboard and plastic bottles will be collected from our doorsteps – but where is the local composting? With the 2nd option 50% of food waste will still go to landfill and what about items like batteries and the rest of our plastic waste ? more

 

Sustainable Trafford

We are very pleased to see an emerging Sustainability Strategy for Trafford Metropolitan Borough Council. There are some commendable ideas contained in the draft strategy. However, we feel that the strategy needs to be much more ambitious and include appropriate targets more
